Creating an online presence can open up your research and teaching to a global audience and introduce your work to peer groups from other major institutions. A strong presence can also help with funding opportunities and career planning. This 3 hour workshop introduces the topic and highlights concerns and opportunities that creating your own presence will bring to light. You will be given an opportunity to plan and create the beginnings of your online presence in the safe environment of a supported course.
