Oxford Sparks is the place for discovering a whole range of exciting science taking place across Oxford University. Launched in 2012, it is a cross-divisional platform where schools and the public can engage with the university’s scientific research. The site includes a huge database of materials put together by University members, including videos, science trails, activities to try at home, mobile phone apps and games. There is also a 'meet the scientist' section, a blog and an active social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Oxford Sparks also develops new resources, including our quirky two-minute animations; some voiced by well-known comedians, podcasts, and specially designed teaching resources.
