This three-hour session starts off with a brief overview of SharePoint. The main focus of the session is about owning and contributing to SharePoint sites, such as user permissions and creating views in document libraries. The final part of the session covers topics related to site collection administration. Please make sure you read the "further information" below.

Course information
Intended audience The session is aimed mainly at people who have been assigned Site Owner/Site Collection Administrator status, but anyone interested in running a SharePoint site is welcome to attend
Prior knowledge This is not a complete beginner's course. It is assumed that you will have logged onto SharePoint and have some basic familiarity with the interface.It would be useful if you have attended the Nexus: SharePoint 2013 - fundamentals session.

Further information SharePoint sites will gradually be moved to the 2013 platform during Hilary 2016 and by Trinity all SharePoint sites will have been transferred.
